In an interview available on the Guardian website, Philip Rosedale explains what he thinks about the future of Second Life:
“… I think that it’ll become more pervasive, especially if we open it up and standardize it. I’m not necessarily saying that this one company will control all those servers. No. We’re working on systems where you can have the servers outside of our company. But, yeah, it will become the Web. I believe that what we’re working on right now will become a more common way of using the Internet to retrieve information essentially…”

Happy Easter, dear readers!!
Just a quick note: you may be interested in reading the exit interview of Philip Rosedale, ex-CEO of Linden Lab.
Long, but worth reading.
I’ll get back to my fantastic italian dinner here… I love Easter, it has strong “religious” meanings (for believers, and for non-believers like me), but I also love it for the food… damn it’s good!!

As usually happens (see Google, for example), the founder needs an experienced CEO.
Philip Rosedale (below I’m at Linden Lab’s HQ in last july 2007) is stepping down as CEO of Linden Lab.

Here’s what he has to say about that:
