A little off-topic here, but tomorrow I’m flying to Seattle to start my new job at Amazon.com : I’ll be their Amazon Web Services (AWS) Evangelist for Europe!

Almost a year and a half ago, Jeff Barr, senior tech Evangelist for Amazon.com, was interviewed by Reuters, on one of the most important topic EVER: The future of shopping (particularly) in Second Life.

Amazon.com’s presence in Second Life is important, and they’re struggling to use it as an alternative educational tool (expecially for AWS developers, their Amazon Web Services).
I think every big company can greatly benefit from Second Life this way: I also hope that, in the near future, we’ll have more powerful tools to teach and interact with other people.
I’ve been at the Virtual Job Fair for Luxembourg jobs, and not surprisingly, I’ve found a nice connection for an open position at Amazon! Great! I knew it was good to go!
