If you like Discovery Channel, and are interested in how they’re presenting Second Life, there is an episode of “Rise of the Video Games” airing on Wednesday 19th december, at 8pm ET/PT.
Of course, for Europeans like me it’s not easy to see Discovery in US :-)

I’ll be watching! I love Discovery channel. I will comment back after and tell you what I think. I’m also a Second Life member so I’m curious.

I think they did a good job with the show and with the way they discussed SL. I think indeed that we are on the edge of being able to purchase real items in virtual online stores. There are many opportunities in SL and the Discovery Channel did a good job with discussing many of them. I personally use SL to find writers for my blog websites and even pay them with Linden. I found that incorporating real life and SL is effective and does work!
