I agree with what he says: people can’t bear advertising. We’re in the third millennium, if you want us to look at your stuff, get us involved in something less crappy than 20th century advertising. THANKS!

Great mission statement. Corps. to date have not been highly successful at branding in SL, and I think they would do well to study those indigenous businesses which DO successfully brand there. Nor do companies make good use of SL-relevant ad techniques, which actually are closer to networking than advertising. I think MOU could lead in creating new networking methods and collaborative story-telling that reinforces branding; but see little evidence that they’re interested in this truly innovative task.

It is incredibly tempting to try this myself.

Incidently, Reuben, why is MOU selling its 5 islands in SL?
