Thank to Fiona, I discovered this interesting post about 50 tips and tips to create a learning space in Second Life. Worth reading.
I strongly believe that Second Life, and Virtual Worlds, have a great potential in the learning sphere; a three-dimensional space is (potentially) much better than ANY web-based learning tool, provided it’s designed with students in mind.
Currently, Second Life is a little bit too complicated to CREATE, and RECEIVE learning contents. As soon as the interface and the creation tools improve, learning will definitively get off the ground.
