Great first time for the Mayor of Assisi!
As you know, yesterday, at 5pm italian time, the Mayor of Assisi, Claudio Ricci (avatar name: Claudioricci Republic), went “public”, for the first time, ready to listen an answer to his citizens, and to people from anywhere in the world.
The event has been a great success, with more than 30 avatars attending!
They spoke about the accessibility for handicapped people, about the “Mattonata” (a street with bricks that have names on them), about other initiatives in Second Life.
People were generally impressed by this move, which puts the mayor of Assisi closer to the people.
Next meeting: thursday, 22nd february, at 5pm italian time, in the island of Assisi.
