2008 second life predictions, here the results!

Follow this link, and you’ll see how users are predicting this 2008. Some interesting results, I can say!
I could also extimate that a big competitor will arise in late 2008/early 2009. Competition is always a big incentive to grow :-)

Simone - what do you think the odds of the Fortune 500 companies having a major presence in 2nd life are?

Hi Kelly!
Odds are high, of course, but big companies (expecially those not directly involved in hi-tech business) are slow in adopting new techs or embracing new tendencies.

I think that Cisco and IBM are leading the way on SL, using it as an internal corporate tool. Sun is doing interesting things, too, expecially with an alternative virtual environment.
We still need an easier interface, and a clearer path for the future of SL, in order to heavily attract investments from F500 companies.
