Helping Burma in Second Life

It’s just symbolic, but Second Life avatars helped a lot in raising the attention of media and people about it. What is “it” ?
I’m talking about the “Burma” question, of course, and if you were on a desert island with Jessica Biel in the last four weeks, you can read more infos on the wikipedia page about the Burma crisis, renamed Saffron Revolution.

Here, for example, a picture I’ve taken in the Assisi SIM, while we (I’m the guy on the wooden box) were protesting against the action of Burma government.

This is an interesting example of democratic and political participation. I really think that Second Life is an important medium, more effective than others. People really FEEL things, as if they were real. That’s the most important thing, that’s what makes a difference.

How does it relate to business?
Simple: what works for politics, works for business. It’s the EXPERIENCE, not the information, that counts.

You have a business and want to make a hit in Second Life? Be able to give people an EXPERIENCE, not a brochure!

See you soon, folks!
